Councillors are very aware of the problems that are caused when Enforcemental Notices are ignored and not followed up. We receive from Bassetlaw District Council (BDC) regular feedback , but we have expressed our concern that a number of these issues have taken far too long to resolve #. It is apparent that this delay is causing some residents considerable distress. To that end we have held a meeting with Senior Officers at BDC, alongside our District Councillor, with aim of BDC seeking some resolution. The Parish Council will endeavour to sustain a dialogue with the Planning Authority at BDC with the aim of moving things forward. We are advised that data makes a difference.
